Jasmin Urquiza Montiel, a recent graduate from Texas Southern University, is hungry to reach her goals. Urquiza majored in broadcast journalism and has a Masters of Arts in Professional Communications and Digital Media; hopes to make her mark in the entertainment world; focusing on celebrity news and music.

Urquiza is a collegiate Energizer Bunny, involved in many organizations, including El Gato Media Network and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Urquiza has covered red carpet events, and city events including Travis Scott’s Proclamation ceremony.

As busy as Urquiza is, she still manages to focus on family and fun. She hopes to make her parents proud, and like any LEO says, “they will know who I am.”
