Slim Thug & Checkers Team Up to Give 200 Burgers to Residents in North Houston

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, Houston's ‘King of the Nawf’, Slim Thug, and burger chain, Checkers, teamed up to give out free burgers and coupons to the residents of Garden City Apartments in North Houston.

This partnership is something special to Slim Thug because he grew up going to Checkers & Rally’s all the time with his family and friends. They gave out 200 burgers and fries to kids and families who showed up to the event. If we know one thing about Slim Thug it's that he will always take care of his people.

“I thank God he sent someone to feed these kids. Slim Thug has a big heart and is always taking care of his community which is why I will always have respect for him,” Native Houstonian Michael.

Everyone in attendance wore a mask and were socially distanced.

Ultimately, the event was a success. The vibe was immaculate; good music, and seeing the smiles on people's faces was a sight to see!
