After 11 seasons of playing off campus, Texas Southern University brought the 2019 homecoming game back to the Durley Stadium to face Missouri S&T Miners.

Although the TSU Tigers lost 23-20, it did not stop the alumni, students, or faculty from celebrating and enjoying their homecoming and showing their ‘Tiger Pride’.

“It feels like home and it's great to be around everyone, meeting new people and connecting with old friends. It’s been 5 years that I have come back and got together with everyone and put the tailgate together,” said Quentin Smith, TSU alumnus.

As the day went on, everyone enjoyed the great food and drinks while they danced and shared laughs with each other; making everlasting memories.

Greek organization tents were filled with many generations of members who enjoyed their time as if they were in undergrad all over again.

The tailgate was arguably the highlight of homecoming. Seeing alumni mingling and sharing their undergrad stories to the current students was a sight to see.

We can only hope that the legacy continues and Tigers can come back home for another homecoming game on the yard.
